Interventional - The Interventional business unit at Teleflex offers innovative medical devices that are used to diagnose and treat coronary and peripheral vascular diseases. We place a strategic emphasis on complex coronary and peripheral interventions, vascular access, bone access, specialty biologic treatments and cardiac assist. Our current Interventional products include a broad range of clinically relevant solutions, such as our GuideLiner® and Turnpike® Catheters, AC3 Optimus™ Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump and OnControl® Powered Bone Access System. Position Summary

This position is responsible for the management of the Interventional project prioritization and resourcing processes in general as well as specifically running the sustaining project intake process.  This position is accountable for not only running these processes, but also ensuring they are continuously improved.  This position will use influence, leadership and professional project management concepts and frameworks in accordance with company objectives and tools to inspire teams to efficiently and effectively meet business objectives.

Principal Responsibilities

•    Responsible for running and continuously improving the Interventional project prioritization process
•    Responsible for running and continuously improving the Interventional project resourcing process
•    Responsible for running and continuously improving the Interventional sustaining project intake process
•    Effectively lead and drive process development and execution in a collaborative environment, completing process deliverables per committed timelines and scope
•    Prepare and deliver process status presentations to Management regularly
•    Partner with Finance, Marketing, and others associated with the prioritization process
•    Partner with leadership from all resource providing functions associated with the resourcing process
•    Partner with Sustaining engineering and others associated with the sustaining project intake process
•    Negotiate and resolve conflicts and drive decisions among cross functional stakeholders to accomplish business goals
•    Help set the direction for the Project Management Office (PMO)
•    Adhere to all corporate policies
•    Must be able to travel domestically and internationally as business needs demand
 

Education / Experience Requirements

•    BS in technical discipline (e.g., engineering, bio-science) is desirable, advanced degree preferred
•    5 years of combined demonstrated experience in project management or analyst roles - medical device and/or engineering preferred.
•    Demonstrated experience with financial analysis techniques (e.g., NPV)
•    Experience with Planview is desirable
•    Experience developing, managing, and enhancing project portfolio processes is desirable
•    PMP certification is desirable
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically manipulating large data sets in Excel

•    Strong influence management skills. Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively at all levels in a matrix organization to build and maintain the positive relationships required to accomplish project goals.
•    Technical aptitude and displayed ability to grasp general knowledge of multiple disciplines
•    Self-starter with strong proactive work ethic, well-organized and detail-oriented
•    Ability to support multiple workstreams and balance priorities, work independently or collaboratively to determine and develop solutions
•    Ability to produce and present clear, concise written communications and presentations
•    Proven ability to influence across functions, drive collaboration and lead change
