Project Procurement Lead

We are looking for a Project Procurement Lead, who will be responsible for local project activities and execution from proposal input to supplier selection and project closeout. Will be responsible for developing effective business relationships with all collaborators, including internal customers, suppliers, Emerson offices within the allocated Country /  region and various other supply chain contacts.  If this sounds like an exciting opportunity to you, then join us!

 

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

 

Achieves a defined set of regional procurement objectives, most notably for supplier risk management, savings and ensure PO/Contract placement. Ensures high engagement with sales and project teams.  Develops, motivates, and mentors buyers supporting the region.  Leads strategic projects and negotiations. Mitigates execution risks related to buy-out content. Defines procurement strategies and suppliers selection in coordination with Project Managers. Draft suppliers contracts. Evaluate suppliers performance. Manages issues related to buyouts and suppliers. Leads relationship, improvement, and challenges with the global supply chain team to mitigate market trends that could potentially impact company’s overall third-party goods and services operations.

For This Role, You Will Need:

 

Bachelor degree or equivalent in Commerce or Engineering Proven experience in procurement, ideally in a project environment Fluent in English and Italian as a must, any other European languages as an advantage

 

 

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: 

 

Strong personality with the ability to connect with all levels within and outside of the organization Master degree or equivalent experience in Procurement or Supply Chain preferred Managerial (project or people) experience as an advantage
