Purpose:

The Project/Program Manager will be part of a strong team of professionals that support the SampleArc and BioArc automated storage portfolio. The Project/program manager will be responsible for the internal deployment of the Stores projects to operating company sites as well as managing key product development programs to enhance the Stores portfolio. The Project/program manager will ensure alignment between internal cross functional resources and business expectations, while delivering to committed timelines and schedules.

Responsibilities:

Lead cross-functional project teams that may include product management, engineering, quality, operations, supply chain, sales / marketing, service, and external partners spanning multiple geographic locations.Build team ownership and commitment to project and business plans and define project milestones, deliverables, and associated resource requirements.Ensures team accountability and milestone achievements.Track project deliverables and ensure task completion by cross-functional team. Drive the tactical project execution and develop and maintain detailed project schedules and resource allocations.Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve timely project outputs.Identify key project stakeholders, understand their expectations, and effectively communicate with them throughout the program.Provide clear and concise program updates (written and verbal), including unbiased communication of project status and issues using standardized forms and metrics to both the cross-functional team and senior management.Ensure design control requirements are met for the project including owning the design history file (DHF).Carries out “best business practices” to meet the goals and objectives of the business.Develop a team culture of continuous improvement and teamwork that strives to improve in quality, safety, delivery, and cost.

Position Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, life science or related discipline, or equivalent years of relevant experienceProven project management experience, preferably within the life sciences, healthcare or medical device industry. Experience in capital goods environment preferred.Experience with Visual Project Management/Swimlane Project Management desired.Demonstrated understanding of Medical Device Quality Management Systems (ISO 13485), GxP guidelines and regulationsFluent with MS Office tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint.Proficient with MS Project or similar Project Management tools.Demonstrated record of organizational and time management capabilitiesSolid oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly to other stakeholders in different functions at various levels.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to function effectively and tactfully with multiple departments and personnel, able to gain consensus and commitment.
