Job Description

The Global Programming Strategy team is responsible for optimizing Prime Video's original and licensed content programming to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention. The team's work is rooted in a deep understanding of customers around the world and the business opportunities each distinct audience represents. The team guides internal decision-making around the content slate, release strategy, in-app experience, and more to match Prime Video's content offering with its most promising audience opportunities.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop data-driven audience and portfolio insights to better serve new and existing customers, and leverage these insights to identify Prime Video's programming needs.Support strategy leaders in portfolio and title programming strategy across the full content lifecycle, highlighting audience and content needs across a multi-year horizon.Author business documents that communicate the state of the business and recommend new initiatives.Evaluate current titles on the streaming platform and determine what is needed to meet demographic or genre needs.Explore new genres to invest in and write documents to review the merits of these programs with leadership.Make financial decisions on what to add or remove from the portfolio.Essential Skills5+ years of experience in business, finance, marketing, or entertainment fields.Extensive experience leading data-driven programs/projects with high impact.Excellent quantitative skills and strong experience with modeling and data analyses.Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (6+ years).Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including PowerPoint (6+ years).Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience.Passion for content and prior experience in the media/entertainment industry is a plus.Exceptional ability to collaborate, earn the trust of stakeholders, and work cross-functionally.Exceptional ability to understand and discuss creative, business, and technical concepts, manage trade-off decisions, and evaluate strategic ideas.Work Environment

Work hours are Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. This is an onsite position, requiring presence at the office five days a week.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $78.00
