This position supports and can directly influence the launches of some of the newest Amazon Warehouse and Delivery initiatives. You will work closely with the global financial systems team, accounting operations teams, tax, treasury, and others, representing the accounting organization to various stakeholders. In this role, you will collaborate with business, finance, and technical teams to deliver world-class solutions that are highly scalable, secure, and flexible. You must thrive in a fast-paced, global, results-oriented environment. Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial, as well as the ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, scope business requirements, and prioritize. Successful candidates will have deep experience in Accounting, Program Management, and Finance Systems.
ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with global financial systems team and various stakeholders.Represent the accounting organization in various initiatives.Deliver scalable, secure, and flexible solutions in collaboration with business, finance, and technical teams.Operate successfully in a fast-paced, global environment.Communicate effectively through strong oral and written skills.Analyze quantitatively and solve problems efficiently.Document accounting requirements, design processes, and conduct user acceptance testing.Lead teams to accomplish complex challenges.Essential SkillsBachelor’s degree in Accounting.7 years of experience in the Accounting field or related area.7 years of experience in program or project management in a mid-size or large company.Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.Experience owning program strategy end-to-end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership.Experience managing accounting/finance process improvement and technology projects with aggressive schedules.Additional Skills & QualificationsMaster’s degree or Accounting/Finance certification such as CMA or CPA.PMP Certification.Experience supporting accounting/finance customers to set and manage expectations.Experience managing cross-functional initiatives through influence rather than direct management.Skills in analysis, reporting, project management, accounting, forecasting, FP&A, general ledger, budgeting, reconciliation, financial modeling, month-end processes, and advanced Excel.Experience with large data sets, Agile, Cognos, and UAT testing.Advisory skills.Work Environment
Standard Monday to Friday schedule. You will own 10-20 small to medium projects, managing them independently while maintaining a team mentality. The role involves unified billing, end-to-end supply chain projects, new launches, and addressing project backlogs. You will be engaged heavily in project management and product lifecycle, translating business requirements into accounting requirements and conducting UAT testing. This role offers a lot of exposure to different teams within the organization and a variety of projects to work on, fostering interaction and cross-functional collaboration with Biz/Tech/Accounting/Legal/Treasury teams.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $70.00 - $87.00
