We are looking for a Project Proposal Engineer to join our Endress+Hauser Vietnam Company Limited in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

 

What is the role about? 

 

Project engineering of instrumentation projects in the acquisition phase and production of proposals with documents, designs and calculations that support in winning the contract and enable a successful handover to execution team Develop a proposal in accordance with the value proposition of Endress+Hauser (E+H) Intergrated Offering and the associated tooling environment Support of the execution phase as appropriate

Which tasks will you perform? 

Designing, costing, scheduling and production of proposals leading to win new projects Maintaining the opportunity for realizing expected profitability and enabling a successful handover to execution team Management of the proposal process including status reporting and follow-up as required Maintenance of and compliance with existing company standards, work processes, document templates and tooling Participation in the development of proposed standard processes, tooling and structures for enhancement of Instrumentation Project proposals All activities to comply with company standards, procedures and work instructions Negotiating suppliers, especially 3rd party suppliers Identification and development of partners and suppliers, including evaluations and commercial negotiations Participation in Bid Strategy meetings, Bid Clarification meetings, Project Start Up meetings, Project Progress and handover/ evaluation meetings, all as required Reviewing client’s documents in terms of Technical Material, Commercial Requirements, T&Cs to generate Technical Proposal, Technical Deviation, Commercial Offer, Commercial Deviation according to company standards, procedures and work instructions Cooperation and coordination with other E+H organizations, project teams and business partners Develop relationships with Clients, Partners, Suppliers, etc. Other activities (e.g International travel) as reasonably requested from time to time

What do we expect from you?

 

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering 4 – 7 years of working experience SAP/ SFDC knowledge is a plus Instrument Engineer experience is a plus Commercial and logistic knowledge Assertive and persistent Working precisely and attentive to details Strong customer orientation Well-organized Investigative (cause and effect) Intercultural understanding Strong willingness to learn and develop Good presentation and explanation skills Excellent communication and presentation skills (both in English and Vietnamese) Ability to network in virtual teams Positive thinker Self-motivated/ driven Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
