The Pursuit Director Power, Water, Sustainability & Decarbonization - MEA is responsible for leading Emerson cross-divisional Top 25 project pursuits for Power, Water, Sustainability & Decarbonization in Middle East and Africa.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
KOB1 Project & Sales opportunities valued at >US$20M++ Sales opportunities that cross international boundaries (joint venture partners, EPC’s, etc.) covering Emerson multiple division content (systems, instrumentation, valves, project services, etc.) and strategic to Emerson’s business (target industry, important geography, critical customer) Own Critical EPC Account Management The GP3 Leader will lead all internal and external project pursuit coordination & handling resources within Emerson, including sales, proposals, project execution, executive management, and business partners. Develop and maintain relationships with joint venture partners and engineering contractors for GP3 projects, overseeing the entire project pursuit lifecycle (sales, proposal generation/submittal, contract negotiation, and execution). Apply a project pursuit methodology: opportunity qualification, team assignments, communication planning, strategy development, executive management involvement, reporting, proposal planning, competitive and customer business analysis, risk analysis and mitigation, and success probability. Set and drive sustainability targets for orders and sales in collaboration with World Area, Region, and BU Sales Management, measure performance, contribute to growth targets, and establish regular review structures with active engagement of WA, Region, and BU Leaders. Ensure the required partnerships (OEMs, Licensors, First Movers, EPC and End Users), pilots and flagship projects needed to position Emerson as a key player on Sustainability market. Lead identified S&D Pursuits (identify the commercial setup, technology, partners and winning strategy). Actively drive the inclusion and integration of Business Units, Emerson Programs, and new Acquisitions into sustainability projects. Participate in customer development activities as trade shows, fairs, conferences aspiring to promote the sale of new products, solutions, and services to specific Sustainability Market accounts. Adhere to Health, Safety & Environment policies as laid by the organization.Who You are:

MBA / Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience. Minimum ten years direct sales experience, preferably in process control and automationPreferred Qualifications That Set You Apart!
Demonstrated ability to target and convert accounts using a combination of technical and business value propositions Validated people management and team leaderships skills Ability to communicate the business-based value of automation – Project Certainty and Operational Certainty, International project pursuit experience with proven result Extensive international travel will be required for this position. Traveling on short notice must be acceptable. Unforeseen extended travel must be acceptable.
