Project Representative 2 (Construction/Engineering)

In the role of Project Representative II, we'll count on you to:Work under the supervision of the project Office Engineers:Review and process RFIs and submittalsMaintain marked electronic and hard copy redline drawings with RFIs, submittals, PCOs, FOs, etc. and verify that they are currentOrganize and distribute drawing revisions and log revised drawingsMaintain test logsRead and clearly understand and interpret construction drawings and specificationsEffectively communicate with teammates and other team members (Designers, Field Contract Administrators, Inspectors, Schedulers)Perform other duties as requested by the project Office Engineers to support the office engineering team, as neededRead and interpret construction drawings and specifications, and identify discrepancies or conflicts within the documentsMaintain accurate daily records of the contractor's daily activities and the work performed, labor, equipment, and materials usedReview construction materials for Contract complianceTrack quantities and develop pay estimates for acceptanceAttend and/or chair construction progress meetingsConduct observations of the installation and acceptance testing of completed equipment and systemsIdentify nonconforming work, develop project punch-lists and maintain until correctedDevelop record documentation for engineer review/acceptanceAssist with project audit/closeoutPerform additional duties as needed

This role is located on-site in San Francisco

Preferred QualificationsEngineer-in-Training (EIT), Professional Engineer (PE), or Certified Construction Manager (CCM)Ability to interpret construction schedulesAbility to problem solve and provide possible solutions to the engineer

Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Technology, or combination of education and relevant experience A minimum of 5 years progressive construction experience on multidisciplinary projects Must have a fundamental understanding of contracts and familiarity with codes and laws governing construction Must possess the ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications and identify discrepancies or conflicts within documents Must be able to work in a team environment Must be computer literate, experience with Microsoft Office, Primavera, or related construction packages Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
