Project Safety and Maintenance & Repair (M&R) Supervisor

To support the department the Operation Departments team he/she will be working to meet the department’s milestones by:

 

Project Safety

Ensure that Project Safety materials are in line with OSHA and TotalEnergies’ rules (Prevention plan and work permits), redact necessary changes, and submit them for internal validation.In coordination with the GBT Terminal and Projects Manager, develop and implement the prevention plans for the temporary contractors or the annual prevention plans for the in-house or permanent contractors.In coordination with the GBT Terminal and Projects Manager, give relevant work permits to contractors.Check the projects’ Scope of Work before being sent for bid to ensure that safety processes are properly described an consider company's policies.Maintain an up-to-date Project Planning for GBT and coordinate it with the Technical Department to ensure that works can be done safely, especially considering co-activity risks.Regularly inspect on the field contractors’ compliance with safety rules.Conduct regular safety talks with contractors’ employees and management to ensure they are aware of safety rules and apply them.Depending on the Projects’ activity in the Terminal, supervise temporary Field Project Safety officers.Responsible for the implementation of the safety procedures during work, provide and sign work permits.


Maintenance

Manage contractors’ intervention to comply with the Preventive Maintenance Plan (PMP) defined by the Technical Department.Supervise directly over the in-house Maintenance Contractors.Update the MX (Maintenance) software to keep the equipment database and PMP up to date.Update the MX (Maintenance) software to ensure that all work orders are conducted on time, and archive respected records, including but not limited to:Meter calibration, additive injectors calibration, fire extinguishers regular inspections, cranes inspection, Pressure relief valves calibration, Pressure gages tests, pipes hydrostatic test, hoses hydrostatic tests, pressure vessel certification, Vapor Recovery Unit maintenance and monitoring system, pumps and valve maintenance, electrical network compliance, Electrical Generator maintenance, Firefighting pumps and network maintenance, …Generate Curative Maintenance works when needed.Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance.Request quotes and prepare Purchase orders respecting TEMPR purchase procedure.Ensure that maintenance/inspection of Critical Safety Equipment is done on time and report monthly corresponding KPI.Manage the inventory and procurement of spare parts and maintenance supplies.Comply with the implementation of the Integrity Management Plan.

Others

Serve as a member of Emergency Response Teams.Ensure a weekly rotating 24h “on-call” service shared upon GBT’s management group.Perform any other tasks as assigned by management. Activities

The Project Safety and Maintenance & Repair (M&R) Supervisor will be directly responsible for safety during project execution in GBT (Guaynabo Bulk Terminal), for implementing the preventive maintenance plan of the terminal and managing small CAPEX project assigned to GBT’s team.


To support our operations Department operations while performing the tasks mentioned above, the Project Safety and M&R Supervisor will be working on an environment that:

Old terminal requiring a high level of maintenanceInteraction with a major CAPEX project May be required to work on a rotating schedule as per terminal operating time schedule (night and day, weekend, and holidays) with a rotation in working hours on a regular basis.Supervise operational tasks for receipt, storage and delivery of bulk and packaged products according to TEMPR procedures.Participate in the maintenance program execution.Respect and make respect the HSEQ programCompliance with Safety local and federal regulation, as well as TotalEnergies’s Golden Rules and Safety work management systemPMP realized according to schedule and budgetCorrective Maintenance done in appropriate time and costs according to the level of emergency


Candidate Profile

The requirements for this position are as follows:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Science or related.Proven knowledge in OSHA construction and general industry.2+ years of experience in an operation in similar role in oil, pharmaceutical or related industry.2+ years of experience in a supervision role.Experience in terminal operations or similar environment is a plus.Excellent oral, written (English and Spanish) and communications skills language.Computer skills is required.
