Job DescriptionEurofins Genomics, Popgen & DTC is a European leader in genomics services, specializing in Population Genomics and Consumer Genomics, including preventative and preemptive health testing. We handle large-scale human multiomics projects, leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as genotyping, next-generation sequencing (NGS), proteomics, and metabolomics at our world-class, high-throughput laboratories in Denmark, the UK, and Germany.
We are now seeking a dynamic Genomics Project Sales Manager to join our team and drive business growth across the UK market, with opportunities to expand into Europe.
This is a full-time remote position with the option to work from our modern facilities in Milton Keynes, UK. The working hours for this role is Monday to Friday 08:00 till 16:00.
Key Responsibilities
Project-Based Selling: Lead the sales process for genomics projects, tailoring solutions to meet the needs of clients in research, biobanks, pharma and other industries.Business Development: Identify and cultivate new opportunities across the UK, developing and maintaining strong client relationships.Market Networking: Leverage existing and new connections within research communities and Scandinavian biobanks to drive growth.Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their project requirements, deliver tailored proposals, and close deals in a fast-paced environment.Travel: Commit to 70+ travel days per year to meet clients, attend industry events, and build market presence.Opportunity: The opportunity to contribute to impactful, large-scale genomics projects at the forefront of preventative health.QualificationsExperienced in sales with a proven sales experience in the genomics services market.A demonstrated track record of closing deals in a vibrant and ever-changing environment.Familiarity with research institutions, biobanks and pharma in the UK is a strong advantage.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.Fluent in English.
