Summary About the Position: You will serve as a special advisor to the District providing technical assistance to project managers, program analysts, technical managers, and functional chiefs in the development and maintenance of project schedule and budgetary data in the Project Management Information System suite of programs (PRIMAVERA/P2), ensuring that all projects are identified and entered in the systems. Responsibilities Provide technical expertise and assistance to project managers, program analysts, and others in the development and maintenance of project schedule and budgetary data. Develop and maintain project schedule and budgetary data in the Project Management Information System suite of programs (PRIMAVERA/P2). Ensure all projects are identified and entered in the PRIMAVERA/P2 systems, and its data components are complete and accurate. Review project progress by use of progress reports, baseline comparisons, and other tools to identify performance variations in cost and schedules, and assist project managers in understanding and resolving these variations. Assist in setting up schedules and budgets to allow for the proper interface and data transfer between systems, such as Corps of Engineers Financial Management System (CEFMS). OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. OR Education: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.
