Project Scheduler
You will have a unique opportunity to work on exciting projects addressing the development and support of new generation advanced nuclear reactors. Working under the close supervision of the Project Manager (Manager) or designated Principal Project Scheduler Mentor, the Staff Project Scheduler performs the necessary Project Control activities to support their assigned projects, which include but are not limited to: project set-up activities in MS Project, Oracle Primavera, or other software as required; assists Project Managers (PM) with development of a Project Work Plan (PWP); develops, inputs, and updates project schedules, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), action items, cost profiles, cost and revenue budgets; performs basic analysis of schedules and budgets to identify potential risks and opportunities. Additional activities can also be assigned by the Manager as necessary.

Salary: $72,700 - $90,000

Your Challenge:
Create and maintain project schedules depicting all project pre-requisite activities, manufacturing operations, purchasing activities, and customer commitments in support of the Production Control activities for the assigned production, design, and forecasted projects. Inputs for these actions can be provided by PM or Manager.
Create and maintain Action items, cost profiles, approved cost budgets, and forecasted revenue budgets as required per the PMSM for the assigned production, design, and forecasted projects. This includes performance of Earned Value (EV) and/or Pseudo EV cost and sched
Perform Project Set-up Activities as required for the assigned production, design, and forecasted projects. Inputs for these actions can be provided by PM or Manager.
Support the PM with quoting and creation of the PWP as required, through the creation and maintenance of project schedules, cost profiles, and WBS as requested.
Assist PM with project related tasks, including supporting customer presentation preparations and scheduling, collecting action items and generating minutes from Project Team meetings as requested by PM or Manager.
Your Expertise:
Experience in project scheduling of 6 months required; 2-3 years preferred.
Associate degree or a Technical/Trade school equivalent certification is required; Bachelors degree preferred. Field(s) of Study: Project Management, Operations Management, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Industrial Engineering.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience with MS Office programs are required. Ability to work as part of a team is essential. Key Competencies: Action Oriented, Dealing with Ambiguity, Problem Solving.
Experience with MS Project and Oracle is desired. Ability to interact with multiple functional areas is also a plus. Key Competencies: Planning, Process Management, Peer Relationships.
