Description:

L'acheteur NPI (External Control Distribution) apportera son soutien à un groupe de produits comprenant des systèmes électroniques, mécaniques et de puissance. Il rejoindra un groupe de 5 acheteurs. 

Rôles et responsabilités:

L'acheteur NPI travaillera sur les accessoires de l'ECD - électriques, mécaniques et de puissance - interrupteurs, harnais, pompes, tout ce qui entoure le moteur.L'acheteur NPI devra participer à une variété d'initiatives basées sur des projets, y compris des examens techniques, des négociations avec les fournisseurs, des tâches transactionnelles et autres. L'acheteur NPI travaillera en étroite collaboration avec l'ingénierie pour comprendre l'étendue de ce qui doit être fabriqué et négocier l'accord de fabrication avec le fournisseur. Il doit comprendre les spécifications, les tolérances et les normes de qualité pour s'assurer que la source correspond aux besoins de fabrication. Aspect commercial: négociation des prix avec les fournisseurs pour établir le calendrier, les prix, les coûts d'ingénierie non récurrents et, une fois qu'ils ont été établis, le prix des articles.Aspect technique: Ils devront contester l'ingénierie si la pièce est trop compliquée - Ils doivent comprendre ce qui est faisable du point de vue de l'approvisionnement. Ils doivent comprendre ce qui est faisable du point de vue de l'approvisionnement. Ils devront parler en interne pour s'assurer que la pièce est commercialement viable.Ils travaillent avec SAP - Ils gèrent les calendriers, passent les commandes.Ils utiliseront Excel - VLOOKUP, tableaux croisés dynamiques, et travailleront également avec différentes plateformes - SharePoint, MSP - pour envoyer les spécifications et les bons de commande aux fournisseurs.

Description:

The NPI Buyer (External Control Distribution) will be supporting a group of commodities that include Electronical, Mechanical and Power Systems. This individual will be joining a group of 5 Buyers.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• The NPI Buyer will be working on accessories of ECD – electrical, mechanical and power – switches, harness, pumps everything surrounding the engine.

• The NPI Buyer will have to assist on a variety of project-based initiatives including technical reviews, supplier negotiations, transactional tasks and other.

• The NPI Buyer will work closely with engineering to understand the scope of what needs to be manufactured, and negotiate the manufacturing agreement with the supplier. They must understand specifications, tolerances and quality standards to ensure the source is corresponding to manufacturing needs.

• Commercial aspect: price negotiation with suppliers to establish schedule, the prices, non-reoccurring engineering cost and once it developed the price of the items

• Technical aspect: They will need to challenge engineering if piece is too complicated – They need to understand what is feasible from a procurement standpoint. They will need to speak internally to ensure that the part is commercially viable.

• They work with SAP – Manage schedules, place purchase orders.

• They will be Excel – VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and they will also work with different platforms SharePoint, MSP to send specifications and PO to supplier.

• They will need to review all SAP reports to make sure that there are no mistakes, check different RFP/RFQ to see past due, if they need to place more, etc.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Must haves:

• 5-10 years experience project management / procurement roles

• Excellent Commercial abilities – negotiation skills for renewing contracts

• Technical skills - Ability to understand manufacturing processes, read technical drawings

• Excellent English / Intermediate French communication - Ability to influence stakeholders and build strong relationships.

o Industries: Not limited to manufacturing, large organizations, attitude.

Asset:

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment

Strong transactional skills in SAP

• Bilingual, they team is bilingual

• Former Aerospace experience

• Understands manufacturing shop and have experience going to suppliers

• Former Automotive experience
