The expected base salary range for this position is $47,500 to $66,500. This salary range may vary based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, education, and geographic location.
**JOB SUMMARY:** The Clinical Science Project Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day administration and organization of client projects (working closely with Clinical Scientists) to ensure that projects and their assigned deliverables are produced on time, within budget and according to the agreed upon scope of work.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:** To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The accountabilities listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.
+ Maintain project-specific activity tracking tools, ensuring all are updated as required and prepared for reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
+ Manage tracking and documentation of internal and external clinical training and clinician assignment activities.
+ Coordinate Clinical Science activities, resources, meetings, and information to support client and Company for clinical project/service solutions.
+ Coordinate scheduling and communication for internal and external training sessions.
+ Manage and organize project-specific external communication, ensuring ongoing connection between internal and external parties.
+ Act as the point of contact and communicate clinical deliverable status to all project members.
+ Participate in kickoff, in-process, status, final deliverable and other project related meetings with cross-functional teams and project stakeholders at all levels.
+ Recommend solutions to streamline the efficiencies of internal department processes.
+ Use appropriate judgment to understand how and when to escalate customer enquiries and concerns.
+ Liaise with internal cross-functional teams to identify and define requirements and objectives.
+ Work to ensure the needs of clients and project teams are met.
+ Monitor project progress and handle issues as they arise.
+ Create and maintain comprehensive internal and external project documentation, plans and reports.
+ Ensure the standards and requirements of the project are met.
+ Other duties as assigned by supervisor. These may, on occasion, be unrelated to the position described here.
**EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:** Bachelor’s degree preferred.
**QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:**
+ At least 1 year administrative experience supporting client-facing projects, programs or clinical trials preferred; exposure to project team environment desired.
+ Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
+ Excellent problem solving/decision making skills.
+ Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
+ Excellent organizational and planning skills with the ability to utilize technology and tools.

+ Excellent attention to detail skill. Must take pride in work product results; strive towards 100% accuracy in work processes.
+ Knowledge of MS Office, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
