Job Title: Project Manager

Job Description

As a Project Specialist, you will be responsible for design planning and approval, vendor and stakeholder coordination, quality assurance, and customer harmonization. You will manage individual project budgets of up to $2M and oversee the deployment, implementation, and launch of delivery stations and tactical programs. In 2022, our team will deliver over 1000 unique projects to improve safety, recognize cost savings, and increase capacity.

ResponsibilitiesDesign, plan, and approve projectsCoordinate with vendors and other stakeholder groupsEnsure quality assurance and customer harmonizationManage individual project budgets of up to $2MDeploy, implement, and launch delivery stations and tactical programsDrive customer obsession through all activities and teamsEarn trust with operations customers through clear and timely communicationTake end-to-end ownership of all tasks within your scopeAssess, escalate, and eliminate project risks to deliver projects on-time, under budget, and within design standardsFollow project-specific action plans ensuring task qualityIdentify opportunities for new standard work and close gaps where guidance is unclearDeploy to various geographies within North America for days or weeks to launch innovative delivery solutionsCreate and implement transportation network improvements for flexible and efficient productsManage on-site deployment of third-party logistics vendors, daily workflow, budgets, inventory control, and quality assuranceLead meetings including Senior Leaders from up to 30 cross-functional teamsWork within various time constraints to meet critical business needsEssential SkillsProject managementVendor managementConstructionAbility to read site plansPMP certification is a plusAgile or Kaizen PM methodologiesWork Environment

This role requires 100% travel, with deployment for days or weeks to various geographies within North America. Travel will be regionally based (west, central, east), and candidates can live anywhere in the region within a reasonable commute to a major airport. Typically, you will fly to a project site on Monday and return home on Friday.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00
