Clarke University is seeking a detail-oriented **Project Specialist** to join our **Financial Aid Office** . This position plays a critical role in assisting students and families with the financial aid process, ensuring they receive all eligible funding in a supportive and professional environment. **Key Responsibilities:** + Counsel students and families on FAFSA filing and loan processes. + Partner with Admissions Communications and Marketing for financial aid-related event planning. + Manage outreach initiatives, including FAFSA completion and scholarship promotion. + Oversee importing ISIRs, verification processes, and financial aid packaging in **Datatel Colleague** . + Process incoming student documentation and follow up on missing information. + Maintain and distribute financial aid awards and outside scholarships. + Train and oversee student employees in customer service and administrative tasks. + Coordinate Federal Work-Study communications, hiring paperwork, and supervisor training. + Plan and oversee financial aid events and payment plan outreach efforts. + Review and process student records for those who decide not to attend (Non-Commit List). + Assist with front desk service coverage, including FAFSA assistance and payment processing. + Generate financial aid award letters and oversee the Financial Aid Ticket System. **Qualifications:** + Minimum **four years** of administrative office or related business experience. + Strong **organizational and communication** skills with a customer service focus. + Proficiency in **Microsoft Office** and familiarity with **Datatel Colleague** preferred. + Ability to work **independently and collaboratively** in a fast-paced environment. + Associate’s degree preferred. **Why Clarke?** Clarke University is committed to providing a **student-centered** and **collaborative** work environment.
