Responsibilities:
Provision of assistance to Facilities Engineering Manager in regard toundertaking detailed engineering, reassembly and testing of Reciprocating Gas Compressor (Ariel) and couple to Gas Engine (Waukesha or Caterpillar). Oversee purchasing and installation of major equipment such as Gas Compressor, Gas Engine, pumps, piping design and engineered as per project requirements. Act as a focal point for all technical matters related to mechanical design and engineering of the assigned project. Coordinate within engineering team members/disciplines and cross functions. Preparing related Data Sheet and calculations. Ensure the calculation and consideration of the choosing of equipment are consistent with fully calculated of risks assessment and safe operation factor. Preparing, maintaining, monitoring, analyzing, and troubleshooting equipment such as rotating machines, accessories machine and piping. Controlling and reducing the maintenance costs to have production effectiveness within the specified limits. Analyzing and solving machinery problems for continuous operation of machinery. Studying to propose the most appropriate solution for maintenance activities to be further leveraged. Monitoring the environmental system.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering or a related field experience or related certify certificate. Minimum 5‐8 years’ experience in Oil and Gas Engineering. Good Mechanical understanding of Oil and Gas industry. Familiarity with Gas Compressor operation system and assembly would be an advantage. Proficiency and familiar with torsional, laser or normal alignments, installation find tune, machining, pully and belt sizing, pump and other major equipment capacity determination. Goal‐Oriented, Unity, Learning, Flexible. Understand and usage of SAP application system. Strong communication / organizational skills for effective collaboration with other related different departments and sub‐contractors, as well as Quality supervisor and team. Understand Fabrication and Manufacturing concept and quality standards requirement. Fluent in speaking and writing English, with top skill of communicating via telephone and emailing with individual or group from local or international.
