This position allows for a hybrid work schedule with a mix of work spent in office and working remote from home.
This position will offer you the opportunity to assist Project Managers in managing project team(s) consisting of engineers, designers, estimators, controls and scheduling professionals involved in the design, modification, and analysis of new and existing high voltage substations.
Support Project Managers with daily tasks and action items, including:Review of invoicesReview of Expense ReportsDevelopment of Meeting MinutesTracking deliverables, RFIs, and action itemsDrafting of template-based documentsClient follow-up for pending tasksCoordination with the project controls teamCoordination among Sargent & Lundy Project ManagersSupport efforts to ensure projects are completed with high quality, on time performance, and within budget.Collaborate with team members both locally and nationwide. Prepare reports in a clear and concise manner and meet client requirements and Sargent & Lundy formats.Communicate directly with clients, providing both project support and overall account support. Essential skills and experience:
Three or more years of experience with serving as firm/client liaison in a support, engineer or management roleComputer Skills: Working knowledge in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Access, and Outlook)Emphasis on the advanced use of MS Excel in creating and maintaining detailed, interactive spreadsheets, workbooks, and databasesExperience with Power BICommunication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to interact and multitask with project team members, clients, and vendors of varying position levelsMust be bilingual in Spanish and English (Read, Speak, and Write)Motivation: Eager to cultivate program and project knowledge to make a valuable impact to the PMO team operationWilling to engage with others to understand the PMO team and client needsHave a self-motivated attitudeDetail-Oriented: Committed to deliver high quality, accurate deliverables with attention to detailBe organized, prioritize, and multitask across various projectsExperience in Project Management of Energy Projects
Valued but not required skills and experience:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited engineering program, a Bachelor of Business or related field, is highly valuablePE licensePMP Certification and/or an advanced management/business degree or certificationSpecific experience in Project Management of Utility Transmission and Substation projectsConstruction and start-up experience a plusCommissioning experience a plus
