As a Project Technical Buyer, you will support the Base Europe Strategies and the project targets for buy-resale items ordered through the process flow: quote, item set-up, buying material through requisition process from agreed list of suppliers, considering Supply Chain targets (price, quality, inventory). You will closely collaborate with the procurement team and ensure vendor performance regarding agree quality, service level and cost.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Fulfilment of project cost targets, participating on sourcing events in cooperation with the team. Drive proactive vendor communication to ensure on time delivery. Communicate specific supplier needs and supplier gaps found during project realization to Project Teams. Monitor project inventory and highlight inventory risks, proactively communicating to internal stakeholders in case of delays or stock outs. Organize reviews with main/critical suppliers. Drive and coordinate escalations.

For This Role, You Will Need:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration or related fields. Solid experience in a similar position. Fluent spoken and written communication English skills.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: 

Technical knowledge and competence in developing and improving supplier processes and technical capabilities; ability to read technical drawings. Experience working in a matrix organization.
