Project Transition Manager (Manager Expert)
Position Description:

The Manager Consulting Expert – Project Transition Manager is responsible for overseeing the transition of projects from the development or implementation phase to operational status. This role involves coordinating activities across various teams to ensure a smooth handover and minimize disruption to services. The Project Transition Manager will lead the planning and execution of project transitions, ensuring that all project deliverables meet quality standards and are aligned with organizational objectives.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Strategy - Planning & Formulation: Provide inputs for customized client transition plans under their purview.
• Transition Financial Management: Control an engagement transition budget allocated, ensuring all activities defined in the project plan are done within the approved limits.
• Foster Transition Innovation & Excellence: Focus on continuous process improvement by identifying areas and participate in team and organization wide initiatives.
• Talent Management (People Mgmt.): Creates career development & succession planning and mentors key personnel in the practice.
• Transition Planning: Create a comprehensive plan covering timeline, resource allocation and budget; for respective transition project.
• Contract Management: Facilitate and drive the closure of all contractual documents related to transition.
• Resource Planning & Allocation: Facilitate short listing and selection of the most suitable transition resources.
• Project management of initiatives related to continuous improvement of processes, automation, promoting digitization and expense reduction initiatives.
• Work with clients to define and manage the scope, strategy, requirements, and implementation of projects.
• Ensure that assigned projects are completed within budgets and schedules while meeting client business objectives.
• Identify, analyze, mitigate, document, and control project risks.
• Develop and deliver budgets.
• Provide effective and regular communication within the project team, stakeholders, sponsors, and management.
• Manage client and team expectations and relationships.
• Identify resource needs for the project and establishes roles, expectations, and goals with team members.
• Conduct After-Action-Reviews.
• Stay current to market and industry trends through training, self-study, trade contact, and trade and industry conferences.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• At least a vocational Diploma, Short Course Certificate Undergraduate, or Bachelor’s/College Degree in any field.
• At least 2 years transition experience in Service Desk, Application Maintenance L2, and Systems Integration.
• Good grasp of IT Project Management to deliver successful end-to-end transitions/projects specializing in:
- Service Transition, change management and transformation
- Service Management and Operations Management Processes setup, implementation, analysis and optimization, transition and transformation for over 40 clients.
• Strong team player with service-oriented attitude and customer focus.
• Excellent Stakeholder Management - must be confident and comfortable dealing with middle to top management.
• Self-starter, and can drive closure of activities even with minimum level of support
• Ability to think strategically, assess alternatives for short and long-term impacts and act decisively.
• Knowledge of project planning and tracking tools
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Organized and has keen attention to details.
• Must be comfortable with changing requirements and priorities.
• Must be able to work well in a high-pressure environment.
• Must be flexible and willing to work in varying shifts, night shift included.
• Experience must be results and service-oriented, and ability to move forward without complete information.
• Must be amenable to working on a mid-shift schedule but must be flexible when needed.
• Must be amenable to working onsite 2-3 days a week with a possibility of full onsite in McKinley, Taguig.
