The PositionJob Title: Project Utilities Engineer (Design and Operation) - TnP
Department: Facilities & Engineering
Key Responsibilities:
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited:
Expose in Utilities System with respect to Operation and Maintenance.
Assist Utilities Subject Matter Expert in Utilities tasks such as MAR, Kaizen, and
System Improvement etc.
Assist and participate in the design, procurement, installation and commissioning of
new equipment, facilities and engineering assets, in accordance to the assigned tasks.
Collaborate with internal resources or external contractors to plan, schedule and
execute capital projects within established timelines and budgets. Develop and
communicate project-tracking metrics with next level and cross-functional
stakeholders.
Be responsible in acquiring knowledge of Roche procedures, master specifications and
standards necessary for completing assigned work scope.
Be responsible and expose actively in acquiring knowledge in the engineering
principles, industrial standards, statutory requirements, SHE and cGMP compliance
and other areas of knowledge.
Be responsible in acquiring field experience in project planning, execution related to
assigned task and project phases such as PI, BD, CD, DD, and executions.
Be responsible in leveraging the experience and knowledge in Utilities Systems and
Project Engineering aspect.
Comply with all RSTO’s Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE) requirements, never put
oneself and others at safety & health risks, and report any workplace accidents, near
misses and hazards as soon as practicable.
Requirements & Core Competencies:
Diploma or higher in an engineering discipline
Equip with logical thinking process and capability to develop solutions to problem and
mindset of process simplification.
Agile mindset and able to work flexi hour due to project commitment.
Positive mindset to learn and explore new assignment and manage stress level through
training progress.
Candidate must be highly motivated, be able to work independently as well as in a team
and have good organizational and oral and written communication skills
Willingness to embrace change, ability to adapt to rapidly changing circumstances and
courage to challenge status quo when necessary with a view on continuous
improvement and achieving targets.
Goal-oriented, persistent and driven to achieve results. Willing to take accountability
for his/her job assignments.
Strong aptitude to acquire and apply engineering knowledge and project management
skills. Positive attitude towards continuous learning and contributing his/her expertise
within and beyond the assigned work area.
Works effectively with other colleagues and partners. Ability to foster a good exchange

team and stakeholders. Think beyond department and functional boundaries.
