Job Description:
The Boston Conservatory at Berklee (BCB) seeks a casual Projection Technician to support theatrical projections in a number of performances in the upcoming Spring 2025 semester. This position will primarily support productions taking place in the Mainstage Theater at 31 Hemenway, and may be assigned to support and advise on other BCB performances. The projections technician reports to the Technical Director, Mainstage, and works closely with the audio supervisor, lighting supervisor, outside designers, and the full Performance Services team.The projection technician executes and maintains projection designs for the Boston Conservatory Theater at Berklee, including installing, maintaining, and programming the existing projector. Projection Technician will work closely will designers and production team during technical and dress rehearsals to operate and troubleshoot the projections as needed, including preparing and sharing any necessary paperwork. Projections may also include slide displays on separate TV displays for title cards and surtitles.
This is a casual position, with multiple positions available.A tentative schedule is provided below, please include your availability in your cover letter. Dates listed represent load-in through load-out, and do not include any additional pre- or post-production work. Partial availability will be considered. Dates subject to change.

● Various end-of-year performances - April 28 - May 9, 2025

BA in Theater or equivalent work experience2-4 years practical theatrical experienceKNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
