Projects Coordinator
Overview ***This position is physically located in Kuwait in support of LOGCAP*** The Projects Coordinator is responsible for assisting with planning, scheduling, tracking, coordinating and reporting all project requirements. Primarily responsible for gathering, consolidating and reporting project data for Directorate use. Will provide the level of work effort required to support all Directorate projects reporting and documentation deliverables. Responsibilities This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company. Gathers, consolidates, reports and assist with development of project plans & schedules for all Directorate taskings and projects. Works in close coordination with Leads, other supervisors, Telecommunications Projects Manager, and appropriate external agencies to create a continuous flow of information regarding ongoing Directorate project activities. Responsible for gathering all required data that will assist the Telecommunications Project Supervisors with planning, developing, directing, and coordinating logistical support for multiple, simultaneous, program level activities, and operational areas. Will take the lead in executing both the Stakeholder Management Plan and Communications Management Plan. Will assist in the drafting of technical documents to include, but not limited to SOW’s, RFP’s, ROM’s, LOTD’s, PPR’s and Project Risk Assessments. Interacts with the military, and other agency officials, both over the telephone and in person, in a professional and tactful manner. Ensures IMD program compliance with safety regulations and collects and analyzes IMD data, such as Assessment Surveys and Inspections, required to support the alignment, maintenance, and execution of activities for Audits. Remains current on latest developments in the quality, safety, fire, and environmental industry through trade and vendor publications, and corporate-sponsored training. Schedules and tracks all required safety training for the Project Teams. Complies with all LCV Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) and Quality Assurance (QA) requirements and goals. Provides documentation to these divisions as necessary to ensure adequate and legal documentation. Provide escort services, with-in secure areas, to teammates. Performs other duties as required. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience Experience: 1-3 years project planning experience. 1-3 years’ experience providing detailed/accurate project planning documentation. Skills: Capable of effectively communicating technical information in English, both written and verbal Must have excellent Customer service skills Must exhibit strong organization and communication skills. Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) Required. Project Management Professional (PMP) is highly desirable. LSS Black Belt, LSS Green Belt, ITIL or SCRUM Master is highly desirable. Must be familiar with structured project management methodologies. Ability to read, understand and discuss AutoCAD drawings. Additional Requirement: Must be a U.S. National Must have an Active Secret Clearance and be able to maintain it Must have a Valid Home Country Drivers License to be able to obtain Host Nations Drivers License Material & Equipment Directly Used Computer, Cell Phone, Vehicle, and other office equipment Physical Requirements Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Working Conditions The worker is subject to extreme heat. Temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour. Consideration should be given to the effect of other environmental conditions, such as wind and humidity. The worker is subject to atmospheric conditions. One or more of the following conditions that affect the respiratory system of the skin: fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilation.
