Job Duties:

The Promotions Coordinator supports the wholesale market purchasing and category management teams in the implementation and communication of program pricing and strategies. This position will assist in all aspects of the day-to-day business in the market category purchasing and promotional planning using programs, tools and technology.

 

Responsibilities: 

Work with marketing team to coordinate promotional opportunities Use best practices in data analysis to develop actionable insights and recommendations for the current business operation Assist in the design, development, documentation, analysis, creation, testing, and modification of computer data systems and programs based on and related to user or system design specifications Directly coordinate, organize, and restructure information centric to promotional activities related to the company’s marketing and advertising initiatives Assist in communication between departments to ensure proper execution of promotions Analyze, develop, and recommend store by store or companywide pricing structures for market categories Verify promotional contracts from outside vendors and assist with fund planning and monitoring Assist with entry and management of critical system data and verifying accuracy Problem-solve and make critical decisions in time sensitive situations regarding communication, pricing, advertising, and marketing strategies. Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

A college degree in business management or related field preferred Fareway retail or wholesale experience is a plus
