Promotions/Creative Services Manager
Calling all creatives! Do you have the skills and passion to conceive and edit mind-blowing station promos and commercials? Do you challenge yourself to write and edit big-market looking spots in a medium-market environment? KLBK CBS13 in Lubbock, Texas is looking for a talented individual to lead to our creative team. Are you the one? Our Promotions/Creative Services Manager must be creative, motivated and have production experience writing and editing spots from concept to completion. This position is responsible for managing the Promotions/Creative Services team and producing effective on-air promotional spots, digital marketing and special projects. + Work closely with Promotions/Creative Services team to brainstorm, conceive, write, storyboard, light, shoot, and edit compelling on-air and online promos, lifestyle segments commercials either independently or as a team. + Communicates with newsroom, talent, and/or clients to develop a production plan. + Work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment and ensure that assigned projects are delivered on time + Makes decisions regarding hiring, evaluation, promotion and termination of employees. + Must be able to work independently and as part of a team + Proficient editing with Adobe Premiere / After Effects + Promotional video editing experience in TV environment strongly preferred. + Possess excellent communication, presentation, organization, and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. + Assists with occasional promotional events which may include nights and/or weekends Requirements and Skills: + Minimum 5 years’ promotion or commercial experience + Strong video production skills + Working knowledge of lighting, audio mixing, color correction. + Excellent communication/grammar skills, both oral and written. + Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. + Experience guiding, directing and motivating subordinates, including setting performance standards and monitoring performance. + Photography and digital photo editing skills, a plus + Fluency in English. + Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
