Description We are searching for a meticulous Proofreader to join our team in Austin, Texas. The role involves reviewing and correcting written material to ensure accuracy and consistency. This is a short-term contract opportunity in the advertising sector. Responsibilities: • Reviewing and correcting spelling and grammar errors in written materials. • Ensuring clear communication in all documents. • Cross-checking materials against input/marked-up revision documents for consistency. • Utilizing Adobe Acrobat, Banner Ads, Blue Book, Capital IQ, CCH Sales Tax, and About Time tools for proofreading tasks. • Using strong communication skills to clarify and resolve queries. • Adhering to compliance regulations within the Consumer Electronics industry. • Providing exceptional customer service in all interactions. • Applying knowledge of the advertising industry to improve the quality of written materials. • Handling translation tasks as and when required. Requirements • Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat is essential for the role. • Experience with Banner Ads is required. • Familiarity with Blue Book is necessary. • Knowledge of Capital IQ is a must. • Proficiency in CCH Sales Tax is needed. • Experience with About Time software is required. • Excellent communication skills are essential. • Compliance knowledge is a must. • Experience in the Consumer Electronics sector is beneficial. • Strong customer service skills are necessary.
