Description Our client is seeking an experienced Property Accountant to join their team for an onsite ~ six-week assignment at their Palo Alto office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of accounting experience, specifically in the commercial real estate sector. Proficiency in Yardi (Breeze) software is required. Key Responsibilities + Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate recording of transactions. + Process electronic payments and cash receipts, including check runs and reconciliations. + Perform bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial records. + Prepare and review financial statements and reports to support property management operations. + Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records in Yardi. + Collaborate with the finance team to address discrepancies and ensure compliance with company policies. Requirements Qualifications + Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in commercial real estate. + Proficiency in Yardi (Breeze) software is required. + Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation processes. + High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting. + Strong ethical standards and trustworthiness in handling financial information. + Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
