WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Job Summary Provides a wide variety of growth opportunities to build on existing accounting skills and advance within the company. This position will be responsible for monthly reconciliations of escrow deposits, accrued liabilities and long term debt. This role provides assistance in the determination of asset values for property tax purposes as well as monitoring the payment of property taxes across multiple jurisdictions. Roles and Responsibilities • Reconciles assigned general ledger accounts and analyze activity for appropriateness. • Assists with the processing of department expenses and coordinate payments with our Accounts Payable liaison. • Collect and provide internal accounting information for valuation reports for Real and Personal property. • Assists with the preparation of online reporting to government agencies. • Posts monthly journal entries during the accounting close process. • Assists with annual financial statement audits. • Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education: Bachelor Degree Experience: 3-5 years Physical Requirements Sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, and moving intermittently during working hours. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs. Must be able to maintain verbal and written communication with co-workers, supervisors, residents, family members, visitors, vendors, and all business associates outside of the health campus.
