Property Administrator
Description We are looking for a dedicated Property Administrator to join our team in La Jolla, California. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will play a vital role in managing leasing activities, maintaining property records, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with a passion for the real estate industry. Responsibilities: • Prepare lease agreements and guide new residents through the sign-up process, ensuring all required documents and payments are collected before releasing keys. • Conduct thorough move-in and move-out inspections, including taking photographs and documenting property conditions. • Assist with marketing efforts by maintaining knowledge of available units, creating promotional materials, and conducting weekly market comparisons. • Process rental applications accurately and promptly, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing and other applicable laws. • Collect rent payments and service requests when needed, providing accurate records and receipts. • Maintain and update property reports, including vacancy status, guest cards, and unit availability. • Inspect model and vacant units daily to ensure they are in excellent condition for prospective tenants. • Build strong relationships with residents, addressing their concerns and providing exceptional customer service. • Support the Director of Leasing with vendor coordination, property-related projects, and other administrative tasks as needed. Requirements • Familiarity with CRM platforms and property management systems. • Strong knowledge of leasing processes and rental agreements, including compliance with Fair Housing policies. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deliver effective presentations and interact professionally with various stakeholders. • Ability to conduct competitive rental market analyses and utilize marketing tools effectively. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. • Positive and approachable demeanor, with a commitment to building strong relationships with tenants and team members.
