The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) has a need for Property Book Clerk – (Accounting Clerk III) to support our government customer located in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.
DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Shall be responsible for conducting various tasks to include updating information, verifying information, communicating with customers, generating reports, releasing or the transfer of property, and maintain records in a property accountable system. Shall follow directions from Supervisor and Government Leadership while also able to work independently and as part of a team and adhere to policies. Shall perform database entry and maintain records for accountability and to an audit standard. Shall know and understand ARMY property regulation. Shall verify and reconcile fixed assets by physically locating and identifying assets at various locations across the Center to ensure accountability. Shall support excellence in customer service and deliver excellent customer service both to internal and external customer while having the ability to work collaboratively to build professional working relationships with colleagues, coworkers, and customers. Shall perform annual property/asset inventories of customers and track those received through an internal process. Shall identify safety concerns to Supervisor and other required stakeholders. Shall assist in maintaining accurate files and provide documentation to Government Lead when requested. Shall provide and assist with required monthly data to Supervisor for a monthly report/tracking matrix of all property matters. Shall make sure that all administrative functions/paperwork is in order relative to receipt documentation, work orders, or internal paperwork are accomplished on time and in the required format. Shall be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe worksite while performing or conducting job duties and be attentive to detail. Shall support the mission, vision, values, and goals of the US ARMY.REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION and REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of (3) Years of Personal Property Book Experience working in an DoD Accountable Property Database/System (DPAS/GCSS-ARMY), Associates of Arts Degree, and (active) CLASS C Driver’s Licenseor
Minimum of (5) Years of Personal Property Book Experience working in an DoD Accountable Property Database/System (DPAS/GCSS-ARMY), High School Diploma/GED, and (active) CLASS C Driver’s Licenseor
Served in the US Military and retained a Logistics – Military Occupation Specialty (MOS) in a related capacity for a Minimum of (4) Years, and (active) CLASS C Driver’s LicensePHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Primarily Stationary; The work environment occurs primarily in an office setting (75%) of the time. The Clerk is required to perform on-site property existence validation inspections (25%) of the time that can occur from an office, warehouse, or lab setting and could require both bending and standing positions.REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:
