What You Will Be Doing:

Acts as a coordinator between various departments to maintain policy language and its application. Oversees and updates policy language by monitoring industry and state insurance regulation changes. Maintains internal documentation of forms data to support form-related processes initiated internally and externally. Works closely with Legal, Marketing, Claims, Information Services, and Underwriting to coordinate the steps of a form change from analysis, to drafting, to filing, to programming, to testing systems changes, and implementation.

What We're Looking For:

Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in English, Insurance, or Business is preferred.Completion of industry insurance courses such as CPCU, AINS, AIC, etc. is preferred.Planning, organization, scheduling and communication skills required.Decision-making skills for determining priorities for implementation of forms changes on a timely basis.Knowledge of third-party vendor forms such as (ISO, AAIS, APCIA and PIAL) preferredUnderstanding of state regulation and filing processes and requirements.Basic to moderate understanding of forms workflow/process and the relationship between forms and rate/rule manuals.Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Shelter maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in geographic location, education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands.  Please remember that this range is the starting base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position.
