American Modern Insurance Group is seeking a talented and customer-focused Field Adjuster to join our team, handling property damage claims in the Sacramento, California territory, and working with customers to resolve their claims. We're seeking an individual with excellent decision making skills, ability to work under pressure, solid organizational skills, exemplary customer service skills, as well as time management skills to balance various tasks in a standard work day.
Provide prompt contact to policy holders and conduct field inspections.Handle field claims to conclusion, including investigation, documentation, coverage analysis and subrogation/salvage assessment.Establish relationships with producing agencies.Participation in catastrophe duty as needed.
This is a field position so the candidate must live in the Sacramento, California area. The core business hours are Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm. Overtime is given as needed.

You have previous property claims experience OR customer service experience coupled with a construction background.You must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work/industry experience.A clean driving record and a valid driver's license are required.Industry training, coursework, certifications are preferred. (AIC, CPSU, SCLA)Previous claims adjusting and estimating experience is preferred.Requires the ability to lift, carry, set-up, ascend and descend ladders in excess of 40 pounds.This is a field position and requires the candidate to be location in or near Sacramento, CA.

The salary range for this role in Sacramento, California is between $55,000 and $75,000 annually plus bonus and benefits mentioned above.
