Property & Leasing Officer

This position reports to the Property Portfolio Manager, in this role you will develop effective skills in areas of Property Management.
The Property and Leasing Officer’s role will include all aspects of property, leasing and related functions such as inspections, introductions, data maintenance, record keeping, finance and being a contact for new arrivals and existing on-site employees into Alice Springs. Maintaining positive working relationships with key stake-holders and maintaining a high level of customer service and attention to detail is essential.
**ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Inspections - Attend USG inspections including Vacant Property Inspections, Yard Inspections ingoing, annual, pre departure, final and vacate.
+ Inspections - Attend Local Economy inspections including ingoing, routine, final and vacate.
+ Assist in the advice and management of all rental practices with existing and new clients including preparation, execution and review of lease related documentation.
+ Assist with the review, action and follow up Maintenance lodgments via Property Tree, email, reception phone and walk ins, inspections etc.
+ Assist with the coordination move-in processes.
+ Assist with the planning and implement communication and marketing strategies to our customers to generate traffic.
+ Attend open inspections on behalf of potential leaseholders.
+ Update VESTA lease end dates etc. in management system. Assist with the maintenance of contact management systems
+ Ensure, promote, and maintain health and safety practices/compliances at site and within the workplace.
+ Any other reasonable duties as requested
**QUALIFICATIONS**
+ 2 – 3 years’ experience in property administration
+ Property Management Real Estate Registration or, Real Estate License (current and valid in NT)
+ Field: Relevant or related discipline
+ Equivalent demonstrated experience in Property administration

**EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS – Minimum Essential**
**Minimum Essential**
+ 2 – 3 years’ experience in property administration, high level communication skills and detail orientation are critical to successful performance.
+ Demonstrated experience working with trust accounting
+ SAP access or ability to gain
+ Effective computer skills in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and Publisher.
+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
+ Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with varied stakeholders
+ High level of client service skills to develop effective relationships with all stakeholders.
+ A very friendly, helpful and professional approach.
**WORK ENVIRONMENT, PHYSICAL DEMANDS, AND MENTAL DEMANDS**
+ The position is desk based and sedentary in nature, the ability to lift items up to 5kgs may be required occasionally.
**SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT**
It is a condition of employment that employees obtain and retain the appropriate level of security clearance and medical clearance applicable to each role. The employee will require a Top-Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) Department of Defence Security Clearance (Australian) or TS/SCI (U.S.) clearance w/ Poly.
**STATEMENT OF WORK REQUIREMENTS**
All personnel assigned shall be:
+ At least 18 years of age.
+ Able to fluently read, write and speak English
**EHS REQUIREMENT**
All Amentum Vesta personnel are responsible for understanding and complying with all site environmental, health and safety requirements. + Completing work task in a safe manner
