Property Maintenace Tech will perform multi-trade tasks in the repair and maintenance of plumbing, electrical and carpentry, physical structures in an assigned area ensuring proper safety and standards within the facility. Will complete preventative maintenance in its scheduled time. Prioritizes and completes work orders in a timely manner.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Perform carpentry repairs/construction and maintenance in all areas of the facility so as to provide an environment where all items function correctly and present a proper aesthetic appearance.Perform limited electrical repairs and maintenance to ensure that all electrical items are safe and function properly.Perform limited plumbing repairs and maintenance to ensure proper operation and safety.Perform limited repair, prep and painting of all walls in the facility to ensure safety and for proper aesthetic appearance.Work may require rescheduling regular scheduled hours, to be on-call on a rotating schedule and to work emergency overtime.REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Requires a high school level of educational development and six to twelve months of previous work-related experience.Requires the analytical ability to resolve problems that require the use of basic scientific, mathematical and technical principles.Requires the ability to read, write and understand English. Work requires the ability to respond to written and/or verbal instructions.
