On behalf of our client, a prestigious, locally owned real estate management firm, TalentWorld is hiring for an experienced Property Manager in Halifax. Manage a portfolio of beautiful properties while you build positive tenant relationships, oversee financial management, and maximize property leasing while you grow your career with a leader in the industry.
Property Manager Responsibilities: Manage the operations of a portfolio of multi-unit properties. Guide your staff on best practices in property maintenance and effect cost-management. Collaborate with your team to maximize apartment leasing. Lead & coach staff while providing regular feedback and annual reviews. Develop budgets and complete financial reporting. Manage vendor contract agreements and scheduling.
Property Manager Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years experience as a multi-unit Property Manager. Familiarity with mechanical building systems and structures. Experience with budgeting and financial reporting. Previous supervisory experience and strong leadership skills. Collaborative & flexible, with the ability to work well independently and in a team environment. Confident decision-making skills with a commitment to following processes. Strong computer skills using Microsoft products. A passion for change, growth, and development in a thriving, fast-paced organization.
Employment conditions: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5pm with some flexibility required. Competitive salary with excellent heath benefits & wellness program. Paid parking and/or bus pass, paid mileage, cell phone & iPad. Opportunities for mentorship and personal & professional growth.
