PRIMARY FUNCTION
The Property Manager is responsible for the analysis and performance monitoring of the effectiveness of asset control procedures within the organization. This position oversees the day to day operations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Perform day to day supervision, inventory control, shipping & receiving to ensure facilities are operating in accordance with defined organizational policies and procedures and contract requirements
• Oversee matrix teams by regularly inspecting sites and conducting random audits
• Compile reports and statistics to demonstrate compliance with inventory control procedures, disposition and shipping & receiving duties
• Ensure that all control activities are conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) and company Quality Management System
• Manage shipping activities to ensure that tasks are completed in accordance with United States Export Laws and Regulations
• Interface, coordinate, and approve Outside the Contiguous United States (OCONUS) shipments
• Ensure all shipping & receiving activities are conducted in accordance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
• Coordinate any special HAZMAT shipping requirements with the appropriate personnel
• Oversee company vehicle fleet as well as heavy equipment required for day to day activities. Ensure vehicles are properly maintained and available to support daily activities between all facilities. Ensure that drivers and vehicle meets all Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act (FMCSA) requirements
• Attend meetings to ensure compliance and support from matrix organizations to provide customer support
• Complete employee performance evaluations and disciplinary actions
• Perform tasks in accordance with property, quality and regulatory requirements
• Adhere to security and safety policies.
• Monitor work performance of property employees to ensure that orders are being filled in a timely manner and work is properly distributed among personnel
• Serve as primary point of contact
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has direct reports and supervisory responsibilities. This position supervises employees on a daily basis. This position has the authority to carry out assigned tasks and appropriately delegate responsibility.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
• Basic to intermediate computer skills specifically using Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn additional computer skills or software programs.
• Ability to enter data accurately into databases.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Interpersonal skills are necessary to work effectively and cooperatively with all levels of management and staff. Will also routinely interact with external contacts such as customers, vendors, suppliers, shipping companies, etc. Must represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
• Must be trustworthy – will handle confidential information routinely
• Must possess effective communication skills to clearly communicate information to others.
• Ability to use general office equipment such as fax, phone, copier, scanner, printers, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School Diploma or equivalent with 5+ years experience in Property Control, Warehousing or Manufacturing setting, and supervisory experience.
• Supervisory experience
• Experience working with CostPoint / Cognos preferred
• Working knowledge of ITAR, FAR, DFAR, and DOT Regulations
• Previous experience operating a forklift preferred
• Ability to pass a drug and background screening
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
