The ideal candidate will have an interest in marketing, advertising, event planning with a focus on live music and the arts, relationship building, and commercial real estate. Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Assistant will be heavily relied upon for event logistics, tenant relations, and creative solutions. Responsible for administrative tasks within the marketing team as well as performing template work. Will help the team with editing materials, working on basic tasks for team members and various marketing related requests. **What You'll Do:** + Completes multiple projects related to responding to proposals and tracking their success, as well as creating collateral. + Regularly creates and distributes property information, invitations, announcements, etc. via email. + Assists client services and sales staff on various marketing-related software programs. + Helps to uphold company brand standards and guidelines when working on projects. + Assist in organizing and coordinating marketing events such as outdoor concerts, festivals, art initiatives, holiday events, and more. Regular attendance to larger events is required and includes assisting in set-up of events in an outdoor setting. Generally, larger events take place on weekends or evenings. + Work hand in hand with property tenants/retailers on their marketing needs and form working relationships + Responsible for the daily upkeep of content of the property website, assist in updating social media as needed + Collect content, plan, and compile weekly email blasts and monthly tenant newsletters + Assist with the production and installation of marketing materials and collateral such as posters and window coverings + Thrive on community outreach and build relationships with key collaborators like City officials, tenants, clients, and vendors + Collaborate with and support the Marketing Manager, General Manager, internal teams, and partners on marketing strategy + Provide administrative and project support for a variety of marketing programs including contract writing and collecting certificates of insurance + Staying on top of marketing trends and key opportunities for innovation by visiting and keeping up with surrounding properties + Responsible for preparing proposals, presentations, and communication materials, as well as other administrative duties + Creative problem solver and desire to help tenants achieve outstanding results is a plus + Ability to learn new software programs is helpful + Other duties may be assigned + No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. May provide informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills. + Intermediate skills with various software programs such as Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to learn web publishing platform. + Decisions made with understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Responsible for setting own project deadlines.
