Property Risk Consultant - Global Risk Consulting Group As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Claim Preparation, Advocacy & Valuation team. The qualified candidate will report to Manager based in South Jersey who reports to the Philadelphia, PA office. The candidate will be expected to travel as needed to meet client and manager needs but will primarily be work from home with periodic time in office depending on location of candidate and proximity to Aon office(s). The preferred geography is East coast, southern region. What the day will look like As respects property damage and business interruption claims Review, audit and analyze accounting books and records, financial documents, or other financial reports – P&L’s, budgets, inventory, revenues, value of production, invoices, bank records, expenses Data entry and statistical analysis Process information – compile, categorize, calculate, audit, verify information and data. Double check for accuracy Communicate to team members on workload, status of projects Track time and expense for client billing and internal usage. Each hour is tracked for T&E purposes. Skills and experience that will lead to success Required Skills and Qualifications 2+ years of experience with quantifying damages pursuant to Property Insurance coverage including Property Damage, Extra Expense, and Business Interruption losses preferred. Using mathematics and basic accounting principles to tackle problems Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and other Microsoft office applications Learn and use macros within Aon formatted Excel report workbooks and other templates Active listening and ability to take direction Ability to be proactive and to prioritize tasks Working collaboratively with others – peers, supervisors, clients, adjusters, auditors and forming relationships to mutually achieve the goals Ability to learn basic principles of insurance, the roles of the players and how property insurance coverage applies Ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense Ability to choose the right mathematical methods or formulas to solve a problem Ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration preferred. Accounting degree preferred, Finance or Economics may be acceptable. Pay Transparency Laws: The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $75,000 - $115,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary.
