We are looking for an experienced Staff Accountant to join our Commercial or Multi-Family Accounting Team.
Responsibilities include full charge accounting for several commercial or multi-family properties. Day to day duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and various other reports as required by ownership/management. G/L account analysis and review. Annual budget preparation. Variance analysis. Coding invoices for accounts payable and review of the A/P input. Ensuring compliance with the management contracts. Maintain building and review & interpret lease files. Completion of CAM & RET Reconciliations (Only CM). Completion of YE Tax Workpapers. Assist with the acquisition and disposition of assets. Ability to work in a team environment and independently. Ability to effectively communicate with property management and company management. Special projects as assigned by the Accounting Manager, Controller and/or CFO.
