Job Description
As a Proposal Consultant you will manage the bidding process regarding complex issues within the Cybersecurity domain. You will project manage the bidding process from initial contact through contract signing, with emphasis on establishing the trading terms. You will also validate and endorse the technical solution. At the highest authority levels, you will approve bids and proposals.
In this role, based either in Spain (Barcelona) or Czech Republic (Prague), you will report into the Sub Region Proposal Manager.
Your Responsibilities:Work with Rockwell Sales to assess and respond to engineering, consulting, project and support services opportunitiesWork to pre-defined SLAsClose cooperation and communication with customers, Rockwell Sales and Field Engineers/Consultants, to explore, understand and define the functional requirements ensuring we expand and maximize the opportunity.Understand the customers application needs and be able to scope a conceptual design for Rockwell Automation solutions, including Field Engineering ProjectsPrepare technical and commercial quotations to meet the needs of the customer but also be compliant with our internal policies, financial goalsDemonstrate the ability to expand the scope of services requested by incorporating the full portfolio of Rockwell Automation offeringsProvide regular feedback on activity status to the assigned Sales Account Manager, Business Unit Leads Local Country Management and Proposal ManagerComply with the Quality Management System.The Essentials - You Will Have:At least 3 years of experience in previous Proposal roles in an Industrial Automation environment.Have a Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent engineering experienceFluency in English (verbal and written) is a pre-requisite, speaking/writing in additional languages will be valued.Positively work with both internal and external customers.The Preferred - You Might Also Have:Broad automation backgroundCommercial skills to support the Sales processWhat We Offer:Our benefits package includes …
