Proposal Developer - Power & Renewables

The Opportunity

The Proposal Developer - Power & Renewables will be responsible for managing the development of technical proposals and project cost estimates in collaboration with the sales and technical teams. The objective of the position is to produce high-quality competitive bids by using tools to create project deliverables and cost estimates. The Proposal Developer - Power & Renewables will also have the opportunity to participate in continuous improvements of the proposal processes.

 

What You’ll Do

Manages all aspects of the proposal process and timelines ensuring accountabilities for all stakeholders Leads the draft response document and draft estimate creation efforts and collaborates with the pursuit team to ensure the accuracy of inputs Partners with technical, sales, and field services teams to secure input from all stakeholders Optimize scope to address client needs and ensure our response is clear and compelling Maintain company-wide consistency for proposals, templates, corporate guidelines, and other standards and industry best practices Prepare proposal development plan (PDP), manage assignments, manage communication, and overall organization of the proposal response Manage/facilitate subcontractor elements of a proposal, if needed Responsible for the integrity of CRM data for opportunities in the development stage Lead internal opportunity-specific meetings Participate in the development of new processes, efficiency tools, and databases at the team and company level All other duties as assigned

 

What We Expect from You

Degree in Communication, Marketing, or Technology (Bachelor or Associates) or technical field related to power or renewables 2-6 years of experience in proposals, project management, and/or engineering in the power or renewables market Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, management, and external stakeholders Client-centric oriented behavior Strong business acumen: project management, proposals, and consulting engineering Client-centric oriented behavior Self-motivated with a strong work ethic High energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent people skills with the ability to develop and foster lasting relationships Proficient computer skills utilizing Microsoft software programs and add-ins Excellent organizational and follow-through skills Ability to work effectively across diverse work groups as well as manage by influence Adaptable and comfortable with ambiguity. Has the ability to work through ambiguity to clarify and determine a path forward Problem-solving skills Ability to work within a team Results-oriented Must have authorization to work permanently in the US

Additional Opportunity Details:
Target Base Compensation Range for this role is $73,800- $99,900
* Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your job-specific skills, education, training, job location, number of years of experience related to this role, and comparison to other employees already in this role
