Proposal Engineer (Cabinets for process plants)

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Analyze / Review customers RFQ (Request for Quotes) for project proposals, raise and resolve any queries Responsible for the generation of all project proposal deliverables related to Cabinet supply from Integration facility (BOM, Table of Compliance, System Architecture, Technical Solution, Identifying Risks, Certifications & Assumptions and Commercial Proposal) using various proposal tools ensuring accuracy and completeness of the financial estimates Understand the complete technical requirement, if any drawing available then review of complete drawing. Work with the sales and project Proposals teams to  Prepare quotations for Cabinets, sub-assemblies,  Develops proposals for Emerson goods and services Prepare Long Term Service Agreements and issue renewals within the set target Assist with identifying the proposal Buyouts, Preliminary Project Execution Strategy Assumes full ownership of assigned actions and Report on assigned tasks Work on benchmarking exercise for cost optimization Able to identify key customer requirements and offer standard solutions. Organize and/or Participate in Proposal Kickoff meeting and review meetings Assist with to identifying and describing the major non compliances. Identify changes between the revisions and calculate the cost impacts.  Take the approval from Manager before submission of Quotation. Submission of the final Quotations to Sales, projects and proposal teams

For This Role, You Will Need:

Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in a commercial or engineering environment (customer support, sales support, technical sales, application engineer) Good understanding of Cabinets offering for process plants and some understanding of cabinet hardware engineering designs.  Good understanding of costs of cabinets and the material which is required to build cabinets Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications Flexible in Work and able to work accurately (detail-oriented) with minimum to no supervision

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

Degree in engineering, preferably degree in control & process automation Good knowledge of Industry Processes or Process Control and Instrumentation is an advantage.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills. English language upper intermediate (written and spoken), good technical writing skills. Knowledge of ERP based system such as Oracle, SAP, JDE etc. (Oracle Preferred) Computer Literate Dynamic & proactive and able to Provide solutions
