Proposal engineer (export) Job Description **Proposal Engineer Export – Water Treatment** Grundfos Water Treatment is looking for a Proposal Engineer for the Export Department. With the acquisition of Culligan Commercial & Industrial in Italy, France, and the UK in September 2024, we have expanded our water treatment portfolio to meet the diverse needs of industries, ensuring superior water quality and efficient solutions combined with Grundfos’ world-renowned capabilities in pump technology. This powerful combination will offer even greater benefits to our customers. In this position, you will contribute to manage, coordinate, and administer the proposals, from the Bid/No Bid approval cycle through to submittal of the Bid to the Client under the supervision of the Senior Proposal Engineer or Proposal Engineer. **Your main responsibilities:** + Develop technical solutions to support the export sales in defining the solution to be offered to the customer + Develop project cost build up and modeling of whole life cost + Coordinate with sub-suppliers and sub-contractors regarding technical solutions, delivery terms, etc. + Interpret and clarify with others on and technical terms and conditions and required deliverables to comply with the client tender requirements. + Participate in coordinating the planning and execution of the work to achieve a compliant Proposal to the deadlines set by the client **Your background:** We imagine that you have: + Technical qualification as industrial chemical/mechanical/thermos-hydraulic + Previous experience of 2 years in structured companies in the plant and machinery sector, preferably specific water treatment + Availability to work off-site and continuous travel within the assigned territory + Knowledge of the English and French language **What’s in it for you?** + Flexible working hours + Health insurance Whether it’s developing leadership skills or advancing your expertise even further, we’ll support you with continuous learning and development opportunities, to help discuss and steer your long-term Grundfos career path.
