Are you only a year from finishing school and looking for an exciting career opportunity with Siemens? Our unique Dual Education program prepares you for future leadership roles in the company. The Siemens Certified Education & Talent Academy (SCETA) program combines theory and practice in a work-integrated learning program (WILP) geared towards technical and professional students. It offers students a wide array of technical, interpersonal, and business acumen training and places them in roles within various industry units within Siemens Canada.

The SCETA program starts with a 3-week paid orientation, and students complete two summer work terms beginning in May 2025. Once their SCETA terms are complete, proficient students may be hired full-time with Siemens.

What will you do?

Assists Proposals Group in preparation of Bids for Medium Voltage & Low Voltage equipment and Solutions and related products. Reviews requests for quotations/ tenders identifying techno-commercial requirements and customer expectations. Supports Proposal Specialists in preparing offers by coordinating with and obtaining inputs from Business Developers, Application Engineers, Field Services, Procurement, 3rd party vendors, Legal, Health/ Safety/ Quality Group, Logistics, and other Siemens Business Units etc. Extends support in developing systems and tools for processes, KPIs, etc.

What will you need to succeed?

Pursuing a degree in a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering, business minor an asset Ability/aptitude to understand specifications The successful candidate will be required to work in a multi-cultural environment and needs to be self-motivated and capable of working under pressure to meet deadlines Needs to have a commitment and passion to deliver quality work in a collaborative atmosphere
