We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic marketer to join our West Region marketing team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving proposal development to support our growth in Southern California focusing on our power, solid waste, and industrial market sectors. You will develop persuasive proposal documents and interview materials, showcasing our engineering capabilities and experience with impactful messaging. You will also lead the development of client plans that drive market expansion and revenue growth.

Support pursuit teams in creating and implementing effective win strategies (capture planning)Facilitate pursuit teams to develop persuasive proposal and interview materialsDevelop and manage proposal schedules and confirm complianceEngage the appropriate marketing services resources in pursuit teamsLead quality reviews of proposal and interview materialsFacilitate debriefs to identify improvement opportunities and to measure overall competitivenessDeconstruct and file proposal and presentation material upon submittalTrain and mentor employees on business development and marketing best practicesArticulate HDR’s capabilities and competitive advantagesPerform other duties as neededPreferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related fieldDeep knowledge of the A/E/C industry’s standard approach to procurement of professional servicesDemonstrated ability to motivate and inspire othersAbility and desire to engage with others in-person, including traveling to other HDR SoCal California offices (Irvine, Los Angeles, San Diego) as neededDemonstrated experience in writing compelling content based on information from technical staffRequired QualificationsA minimum of 5 years relevant industry experience Demonstrated "self-starter" with a history of completing projects with limited oversight Experience in sales and developing effective win strategies Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including InDesign
