**WHAT'S THE JOB?**
As the **Proposal Specialist** you will be a key member of the Strategic Response team. Working collaboratively with Sales, Estimating, and Operations you will develop high-quality, compelling proposals for Dexterra Group by performing the following duties:
+ Comprehensively immerse him/herself in the company to learn our service offerings and differentiators.
+ Support the end-to-end process for proposal development including planning development, coordinating deliverables, technical writing, content reviews, and final production.
+ Analyze client request documents and scoring criteria to identify pain points and critical success factors.
+ Facilitate strategy discussions and work closely with subject matter experts to identify win themes and value-add content for submissions.
+ Follow Dexterra Group’s branding, content-writing, and editing standards.
+ Manage quality of submissions and timely delivery.
+ Perform document control activities including storing client request documents, approvals, and submissions.
+ Monitor the proposal process and sponsor continuous improvement initiatives.
+ Participate in the development and maintenance of the proposal library.
_Candidate can be located in Edmonton, Calgary or Mississauga._
**Qualifications**
**WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?**
+ 3+ years of relevant working experience.
+ Post-secondary education; college diploma and/or university degree.
+ Excellent written and communication skills. French language ability seen as an asset.
+ Strong analytical and project coordination skills.
+ Ability to prioritize and meet firm deadlines.
+ Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
+ Familiarity working across varied e-bidding/procurement sites (Ariba, Bids and Tenders, MERX, etc.).
+ Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is an asset.
