Job Description
The Proposal Strategist is responsible for developing the proposal plan, managing the Request For Proposal (RFP) process, and ensuring successful completion of business development proposals to win work for the company. This position collaborates with business development and project management leadership to create distinctive value propositions that enhance competitive positions.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop proposal plan, draft storyboards, and create proposal and win strategy.Assign proposal team tasks and manage initial proposal management plan.Perform pink team review and adjust marketing materials in response to feedback.Conduct go/no-go decision review and official proposal kickoff meeting.Develop graphics and visuals for proposals.Perform post-submittal activities including interviews in the checkmate phase.Develop negotiated contract outlines and deliver proposal services as per the checkmate phase.Support the development of metrics including change orders, safety, budget, schedule, diversity goals, and community involvement activities.Assist with project deliverables closure and submittal for industry awards (ACEC, ENR).Attend professional associations, conferences, and trade shows; prepare and set up the booth.Perform other duties as assigned.Comply with all policies and standards.Essential SkillsProposal writingProposalsStoryboard developmentProposal developmentBachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field4 years of experience in marketing, business development, or sales with a professional services firmExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience at an A/E firm preferredProficiency with Adobe InDesign strongly preferredCertified Proposal Management Professional (APMP) preferred or equivalentApplicable years of experience may be substituted for degree requirementWork Environment
This role will be based in the office from Monday to Friday.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $37.00 - $43.00/hr.
