Proposal Tool Design Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic very hardworking to join our dynamic, multi-functional team of skilled engineers to working with estimating tool & processes following best in class methodologies. You should have a passion for logic design and a strong sense of creativity, as these attributes are important for redefining industry standards and pushing the boundaries of what can be achieved through products & services driven solutions.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Collaborate with multi-functional teams to find opportunities to enhance & modify Estimating tool logic and develop innovative solutions to complex business problems. Handles multiple rules design requirements for different Business units to meet specification, project schedule, and quality standards. Handles the communication & expectation of the various SMEs/collaborators/Internal teams in the Project. Works with various collaborators, SMEs, Internal teams to deliver estimation design on the project requirement. Accountable for the various reporting requirements (both internal & external) with respect to rules design. Accountable towards the Estimation design for its entire lifecycle; end to end execution of Business Rules.  Document preparation for Scope & schedule, User Stories, impact analysis etc. Strong technical support on rules to other Business unit’s rules designer and PMO support team. Extracting Logic information, preparing comparison & demonstration of estimating solutions as per SME requirements. Providing training, demonstrations & explaining new features of enterprise-wide solutions to large group of users, SMEs & collaborators. Updating Project Proposal Processes & guidelines documents on Project Portal. Accountable for Project Portal adoptions, user communications & demonstrations. Communicate effectively with team members, collaborators, and senior management to translate data insights into actionable strategies and recommendations. Creating & maintaining log of top priorities from business needs perspective. Aligning & work agile way with other PMO tools/entities to achieve larger goals.

You establish clear responsibilities and processes for monitoring work and measuring results You analyze multiple and diverse sources of information to define problems accurately before moving to solutions even in the absence of complete information You relate comfortably with people across levels, functions, cultures, and geography.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart 

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (instrumentation/Electronics/Electrical) or a related field or a master's degree or higher is preferred. 3-5 years’ experience out of which 3 years of experience in Proposal / Presales is mandatory. Experience in logic reading & design will be preferred. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks. Good logical & analytical skills with modular rules design will be a key. Balancing collaborators with work process optimization are needed for driving best results. Good presentation & demonstration skills will be plus. Mentor & Motivate team to achieve Productivity & engagement. Awareness of ongoing IT project, SDLC, Azure Dev Ops will be beneficial Prior experience in engineering domain would be nice to have.
