The Proposal Writer will play an integral role in the Quanta Services Central Region’s commercial operations initiatives, serving as the lead in the proposal life cycle process, responding to requests for proposals, requests for information, expressions of interest, and supporting additional marketing initiatives, as needed. The ideal candidate must be a detailed-oriented initiative-taker with strong organizational, writing, and analytical skills, as well as the ability to multi-task in a fast paced, dynamic work environment. **What Do You Offer Us?** Initiate, lead, and manage the proposal process working closely with the Central Region’s operating companies, field and office leadership, commercial operations, and estimating teams. + Collaborate closely with stakeholders throughout the Central Region. + Identify proposal requirements and deliverables and establish deadlines for responses. + Prepare, research, and write responsive and persuasive proposal text that supports the Central Region operating company’s qualifications, experience, staffing, technical responses, and resumes. + Interview subject matter experts and draft proposal material and content for review. + Drive and maintain proposal schedule and develop outlines with responsibilities and deadlines for writing, editing, graphic design, and review and approval requirements for proposal and pre-qualification efforts. + Create, update, and maintain information stored by operating company: + Resumes + Experience List + Department Information (Safety, Quality, Environmental, etc.) + Develop operational, administrative, and technical knowledge resulting in best-in-class proposal writing. + Proof all content for proposals, project profile summaries, resumes, marketing materials, and other business-related communications. + Assist with developing and submitting any proposal cures, clarifications, or post-submission requests for information. + Ideation and development of marketing copy and additional marketing support, as needed and dependent on skillset. + Other (related) duties as assigned. **What We Offer You:** + Paid on-the-job technical and professional training + Defined career path for future growth + Competitive wages and industry-leading benefits including Retirement Plan **Job Details:** + Job Type: Full-time, onsite + Pay Frequency: Semi-monthly + Compensation Range: $80,000 - $100,000, based on experience + Company website: To apply go to our website at mearscareers.net + Industry-leading benefits: health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life and disability insurance, paid time off (PTO) and 401(k) + Applications for this position will be accepted through October 31, 2024 **What is Required?** + A bachelor’s degree, or related industry experience (required). + Minimum of 5 years proposal writing experience. + Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills. + Keen attention to detail. + Ability to work under pressure with time-sensitive deadlines. + Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite + Any equivalent combination of training/education, and experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirement. + Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with a diverse range of disciplines in a dynamic business setting. + Highly motivated, strong work ethic, and team player. + Ability to adapt, improvise, and problem solve. **Working Environment/Physical Demands:** General office physical demands which can include: the ability to sit, stand, stoop, kneel, bend, and walk.
