Proposal Writer/Quoting

 

This is a full-time remote Proposal Writer position located in the United States, Monday - Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

 

Job Overview: As a proposal writer, you will be responsible for creating and developing proposals to secure contracts and projects from clients within the analytical outsourcing sites. This role involves collaborating with various departments across several testing sites to gather necessary information and ensure that proposals are accurate, compelling, and aligned with the organization's goals.

This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about writing and have a keen interest in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. It offers an opportunity to develop your skills and contribute to the success of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Research and Information Gathering: Collect and analyze information from various sources to support proposal content. Proposal Writing: Develop clear, persuasive, and well-organized proposals that effectively communicate the site’s capabilities, services, and costs. Collaboration: Work closely with subject matter experts, project managers, and other team members to understand project requirements and objectives. Editing and Proofreading: Review and edit proposals to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency. Database Administration: Populate proposal information and status updates across multiple online platforms. Template Management: Maintain and update proposal templates and guidelines. Tracking and Reporting: Monitor proposal submissions and outcomes, and report on the status of ongoing proposals. Industry Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a related science field, OR English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. Skills: Strong writing, research, and analytical skills. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and proposal management software. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in a GMP testing site, strongly preferred, OR 3-5 years of experience in technical writing, journalism, or communications. Attributes: Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
